Selena Gomez

 Selena Marie Gomez (/s@/li:n@Gomez/s@-LEE-n@/GOH-mez; July 22, 1992) was an American singer, actress and producer. Gomez started her acting career with the children's television series Barney & Friends (2002-2004). In her teens Gomez was famous for her role as Alex Russo in the Disney Channel television series Wizards of Waverly Place (1907-2012). Gomez was also featured in several films that included Another Cinderella Story (2008) and Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie (2010). She also appeared in Ramona and Beezus (2010) as well as Spring Breakers (2012). She was also a voice actor on Mavis in Hotel Transylvania (2012-2022). Gomez was the executive producer of Netflix's 13 Reasons Why (2017-2020) as well as Living Undocumented (2018) through July Moon Productions. She also has a role in the Hulu comedy show, the mystery Only Murders in the Building (21-21-222). The latter earned Gomez critical praise, and nominations for the Golden Globe Award, and as a producer, the Primetime Emmy Award .



 Gomez was previously in Selena Gomez & the Scene released three albums. All of them reached the top ten spots of the US Billboard 200. The albums were all certified gold and received the Recording Industry Association of America's (RIAA). Stars Dance, her debut solo album, was a massive hit in the U.S. Billboard 200 topped her debut solo album called Stars Dance (2013). The album's lead single, "Come & Get It", reached number ten on the US Billboard Hot 100. Gomez's sophomore album, Revival (2015) came out at number one in the US. It was certified platinum by RIAA and also produced three top-ten tracks in the US: "Good for You" and "Same Old Love", and "Hands to Myself". Rare (2020) which was her third studio album was her third straight number-one in the US. Its number one single, "Lose You To Love Me", was her first top-ten single in both the US and Canada. Revelacion is her EP in Spanish came out in 2021. The singer was nominated to the Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album. The singer has been awarded numerous awards, including being named the Woman of the Year by Billboard in 2017. In 2017, she also set 15 Guinness World Records. Time magazine named her one the 100 most influential individuals across the globe in 2020. She is a well-known social media star and the most followed musician and actress on Instagram. Gomez is also involved in fashion, handbags and perfume. She has been an UNICEF Ambassador from the age 17.
