Meagan and Kara
Meagan Good's mom Tyra was a teenager when she worked in Panorama City as a manager and her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman from LAPD. Her family consisted of three siblings at home in Canyon Country in California and began her acting career in the age of four. In the beginning of her career, she was an extra for television shows such as Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. At the age of 13, she was cast in her first film Friday. The film first caught the attention of her character as the struggling teenager Cisely Batiste in the film Eve's Bayou in 1997 for where she won two awards nominations. One of them was her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominated. Good started with tiny roles in films and television during a short period of time before moving into more mature roles at the start of the 2000s. The actress starred as Nina on Cousin Skeeter a Nickelodeon T.V. Between 1998 and 2001 she played in the TV program "Cousin Skeeter". In addition, she was offered minor parts on the show from 1998 to 2001. She also landed minor roles in the film House Party: Down to the final minute, as well as 3 Strikes. She portrayed Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. The show was nominated for Best Actress for the Black Movie Awards for 2005. Killmer, originally from Texas was educated in Baylor University Waco Texas where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. The degree in performing arts was awarded in 2010. The actress began her screen career in 2010 on the web series If You Can Dream. After starring in numerous local productions, Kara Killmer made her on-screen debut in 2010 in the pilot part of the Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream. The show centers around an ensemble of actors who move into the same Hollywood California house.
