Kelly Clarkson has been a American songwriter and singer for more than twenty years. She took home American Idol during the first season. She's among the most well-known artists that are emerging from American Idol. She tried her hand at recognition for her diverse musical and theme styles, often writing the songs herself. Her individuality and her singing talent earned her praise from critics, as well as several high-profile award. One of her most memorable achievements is the fact that she was awarded the Grammy Award three times. Alongside her music career, she also has had a stint in TV and film. She is also the author of the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and been involved in numerous charities.
