Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born April 16, 1997 in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a psychotherapist. The father of her is Argentine, of Scottish-English heritage. Her mother is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy, who is youngest of five children. Four are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria region in London. Taylor-Joy said she was traumatic, and refused to go back to school in English in the hope of go back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed between Northlands in order to attend Hill House. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in school productions. She quit high school when she was 16 in order to focus on her acting career. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actor. She was given a chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her the opportunity to model.
